Bridgewater College Baseball Plaza Enhancements

Creating a championship entry experience for Bridgewater Baseball
Bridgewater College sought to enhance its baseball facilities with a welcoming entry plaza and upgraded site amenities to elevate the experience for athletes, fans, and the broader college community. Colman Engineering provided surveying and civil design services for the construction of new concrete walkways, retaining walls, and a brick plaza.
The project began with detailed site surveys and drone mapping to establish an accurate base map. Colman Engineering then updated the conceptual site plan and advanced the design through preliminary and final phases.
Construction documents addressed layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control. Throughout the process, Colman collaborated closely with Bridgewater College staff and stakeholders to align the design with the project’s goals and timeline.
The completed plaza includes recognition plaques, home and visitor patios, an upgraded backstop, and increased stadium seating—creating a more authentic stadium environment and celebrating the legacy of Bridgewater baseball.
