Rockingham Coop Dayton Mill
Accommodating current and future needs at busy feed mill
Rockingham Cooperative was looking to expand its Dayton Mill operations to accommodate future growth, including purchasing and developing farmland adjacent to the mill.
Colman Engineering provided end-to-end site plan design for the property, including for the newly acquired farmland. Plans included additional silos and equipment installations and a more efficient system for truck circulation and loading/unloading. This involved relocating one scale and installing a new one to create a streamlined and highly functional truck access and traffic flow at the site.
With its new, comprehensive site plan, Rockingham Cooperative can continue to build out the Dayton Mill facility, preparing the company for the next 50 years of success and growth.
