“Doing Work We’re Proud Of” means taking responsibility for the quality of our work—from the smallest calculation to the final set of stamped plans. It means paying attention to detail, holding ourselves accountable, and proactively solving problems before they escalate. In a field where even small oversights can have real-world consequences, pride in our work isn’t just personal—it’s professional.

Here’s how that value plays out in our day-to-day work:

Taking Ownership of Quality

Whether we’re working on a five-lot subdivision or a large-scale utility relocation, we take pride in the quality of what we produce. We check our work. We use QA/QC checklists. We ask each other to double-check. And if something slips through, we fix it. That mindset helps us build trust—with clients, reviewers, contractors, and with each other.

Sweating the Small Stuff (Because It Matters)

A mislabeled contour line or an ambiguous label can delay approvals, confuse contractors, or drive up costs. That’s why we try to remember to slow down and take the time to do it right. Attention to detail is one way we show respect for everyone who touches the project after us.

Solving Problems Before They Happen

We believe good engineering is as much about foresight as it is about formulas. That means looking at a plan set and asking not just “Will this get approved?” but “Does this make good sense?" and “Is this the best solution for the client’s goals?”
