Project Description To support JMU’s expanding telecommunications infrastructure, Colman Engineering provided civil engineering services for a new telecom duct-bank between JMAC 4 and Massanutten Hall.
The project included a partial boundary and topographic survey to identify impacts to city property and existing utilities, as well as plan and profile designs for the telecom route, ensuring conflicts and adjustments were addressed.
Colman Engineering also coordinated with JMU and City of Harrisonburg stakeholders to meet all permitting and design requirements, facilitating a seamless approval process and integration into the existing infrastructure.
