Project Description Colman Engineering provided civil engineering and design services to support the future construction of a 6-foot-wide, 720-foot-long sidewalk along Carrier Drive, connecting bus stops 28 and 24 near the I-81 bridge.
The project began with a partial boundary and topographic survey to map the I-81 right-of-way, existing street features, utilities, and grading requirements. Colman designed the sidewalk, including a concrete retaining wall to accommodate grading, as well as Maintenance of Traffic, Erosion and Sediment Control, and Drainage Plans.
